Courtesy of a press release by Purdue News Service, two winter commencement ceremonies are scheduled for Dec. 15 in Elliott Hall of Music.

The first ceremony is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Students from the Colleges of Agriculture, Education, Engineering and Liberal Arts will graduate at this time. Graduation ceremonies for students in the Colleges of Health and Human Sciences, Management, Pharmacy, Purdue Polytechnic Institute, Science and Veterinary Medicine are scheduled for at 2 p.m.

Both ceremonies will feature keynote speaker Rita Colwell, a Purdue alumna and distinguished researcher who served as the 11th director of the National Science Foundation and co-chair of the Committee on Science, National Science and Technology Council, among other committee and institutional memberships and awards, according to the press release.
