- Comments
The University is "de-densifying" classrooms and public spaces on campuslike in the Wilmeth Active Learning Center, Wetherill Hall of Chemistry and Stewart Center for students' return this fall, and for upcoming summer programs. Modifications include distancing desks and chairs for social distancing guidelines, erecting mobile Plexiglas barriers to separate professors and students, and providing disinfectant wipes to sanitize areas after student use.Â
About 8% of classroom spaces on campus have been de-densified as of Tuesday, according to Michael Gulich, director of campus planning and sustainability.
