According to Sgt. Kim Riley of the Indiana State Police, a multi-vehicle accident involving two cars and a semitrailer on Interstate 65 has resulted in a fatality.
"We have one confirmed death at the crash on I-65 (southbound) at the 159 mile marker in Clinton County," Riley said in a tweet.
While there were initially no injuries reported, WLFI said one person was airlifted out in addition to the fatality.
Riley said ISP is diverting traffic at the State Road 38 exit, where drivers should go west to U.S. 52 and go south to State Road 47 to return to I-65 southbound.
"Have patience!" Riley said in a tweet. "It is warming up out here on the interstate. Keep tempers in check!!!"
