The Lafayette Police SWAT team arrested four people yesterday after serving a search warrant Tuesday afternoon.
Nathaniel Dennard, 23, Anissa Balbaky, 23, and Edward Roberson Jr., 26, were arrested by the Lafayette Police Department Tuesday afternoon at 1013 Hartford St. in Lafayette. Dennard and Balbaky were arrested on multiple charges, including dealing methamphetamine and dealing a controlled substance, while Roberson Jr. was arrested for visiting a common nuisance.
Officers also arrested Emanuel Sanders, 32, who was sitting in a car parked in front of 1213 Hartford St. Sanders was arrested on charges of carrying more than 30 grams of marijuana and carrying a handgun without a license.
According to the press release, the search warrant was obtained through an investigation by the LPD Highway Interdiction Team and the LPD Street Crimes Unit. The SWAT team was utilized due to the address being linked to a shooting that occurred on Oct. 13.
Balbaky and Dennard are currently held in Tippecanoe County Jail on $15,000 bail. Roberson is held on $250 bail.
