The Purdue women's soccer team took on the Minnesota Golden Gophers for the annual Hammer Down Cancer game at Folk Field on Friday.
In the first half, the Gophers' April Bockin scored, and the half finished with a score of 1-0, with Minnesota in the lead. In the second half, Purdue's Kylie Hase scored a goal to tie up the game, but Minnesota's Celina Nummerdor scored a close-range goal and the game ended with a final score of 2-1, Minnesota taking the win.
