For the second night in a row, the Purdue volleyball team defeated Northwestern. On Saturday's on Senior Night Purdue won, 3-1, on matches of 25-18, 22-25, 25-15, and 25-19. After the game, senior libero Jena Otec and senior outside hitter Caitlyn Newton were honored as seniors. Newton lead Purdue with 17 kills and finished the game with a 26.7 hitting percentage while Otec lead Purdue with 27 digs. Redshirt-junior setter Hayley Bush lead Purdue with 40 assists and finished with 11 digs and 2 blocks. The Boilermakers finished with 9 blocks, with junior middle blocker Jael Johnson finishing with 5 of them.Â
