Purdue (83-44-3) hosted the Lady Boilermaker Classic at Ackerman-Allen Course on Saturday and Sunday. Following the first two rounds, the Boilermakers trailed Texas Tech by 11 strokes over par. Despite a rainy Sunday morning, the tournament was still to be played. Purdue rallied at the end of the third round, but was ultimately defeated by Texas Tech.
Inez Wanamarta and Micaela Farah placed the highest for Purdue; both were three strokes over par. Purdue competes next on Friday in Maineville, Ohio, in the Big Ten Championship.
