No. 15 Purdue wrestling suffers its worst defeat of the season, losing 6-37 to No. 1 Iowa in Holloway Gymnasium. Only two wrestlers for Purdue won their bouts, with senior wrestler Kendall Coleman and graduate wrestler Parker Filius winning the 157 pound bout and 141 pound bout respectively. Purdue started the match on the receiving end of a pin as ninth ranked Matt Ramos was pinned by top ranked Spencer Lee after starting off with a 8-2 lead. The Purdue wrestling team is now 4-4 on the year and 0-1 in Big Ten play as they travel to Illinois for its next match on Saturday January 14th at 7 p.m.
