Matt Haarms scored a career-best 26 points and was a major contributor in the second overtime to lift Purdue (9-5, 2-1) to an 83-78 win over Minnesota (7-6, 1-2) Thursday night in Mackey Arena. Sasha Stefanovic, who started the game 3-for-3 from 3-point distance, hit a key 3-pointer in regulation to tie the game then hit another in the second overtime that were key contributions, too. Minnesota was led by Daniel Oturu with 29 points (18 rebounds) and Marcus Carr scored 27.
