The No. 7 Purdue men’s basketball team moved to 2-0 on the season after defeating Indiana State 92-67, Friday night in Mackey Arena. After trailing early in the first, Purdue would took the lead and maintained a 20-point advantage for the rest of the game. Despite a scoring drought midway through the second half that dropped 30-point lead down to 20, Purdue shot 53.4% from the floor and 40% from the 3-point line. Sophomore guard Jaden Ivey led Purdue with 27 points and eight rebounds.

• Sophomore center Zach Edey finished with a double-double, scoring 22 points and recording 10 rebounds.

• Purdue blocked 8 shots, with senior forward Trevion Williams leading Purdue with four of the eight blocks.

• Purdue outrebounded Indiana State 42-31, with 12 offensive rebounds.

The Boilers return to action at 7 p.m., Tuesday when they host Wright State (1-1). The game will be aired by the Big Ten Network.
