The opening weekend of Big Ten play concluded with the Purdue women's soccer team falling 1-0 to Michigan for the first shutout Purdue has conceded this year. With its second loss of the season, Purdue's six game unbeaten streak at Folk Field was snapped. The lone goal of the game was recorded in the 65th minute by Releigh Loughman on a serve from Nicki Hernandez.
