With a 3-1 victory over Maryland (12-9, 3-6 Big Ten) on Friday night in Holloway Gymnasium, the Purdue volleyball team (16-4, 5-4) has now won three of its last four conference matches after starting 2-3 in the Big Ten.
Purdue won the first match 25-21, but lost the second 25-23. Then the Boilers rattled off the next two wins — 25-20 and 25-13 — to earn the victory. The Boilermakers had four players in double-figure kills: Sherridan Atkinson (16), Caitlyn Newton (15), Blake Mohler (11) and Grace Cleveland (10).
