Sophomore Trevion Williams has been selected to represent the United States in the FIBA U19 World Cup.
Williams is the third Boilermaker in a row to play for Team USA as Caleb Swanigan helped the team to a gold medal in 2015 and Carsen Edwards got a bronze medal in 2017.
Williams allegedly impressed at the USA training camp and will likely be the team's starting post player this year, according to a Purdue press release.
The tournament will begin later this month in Greece as Team USA hopes to grab its seventh gold medal.
The entire team roster can be found here.
The team is coached by Kansas State's Bruce Weber, a long-time assistant to Gene Keady while at Purdue.
