The No. 7 Purdue women's golfers shot a 300 in the fourth and final round of the 2013 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships to earn sole possession of third place.
Three Boilermakers finished in the top 25 as individuals, led by senior Paula Reto in third place, sophomore Aurora Kan tied for 15th and senior Laura Gonzalez-Escallon tied for 23rd.
Top-ranked Southern California (284-276-285-288=1133, -19) won the national championship in record-breaking fashion and Southern Cal's Annie Park (70-67-70-71=278, -10) became just the seventh freshman in NCAA history to win the individual title. No. 3 Duke (286-289-287-292=1154, +2) was the runner up, 21 strokes behind Southern Cal. Purdue (289-289-295-300=1173, +21) finished one stroke ahead of fourth-place UCLA (289-287-297-301=1174, +22) and No. 13 Arizona State (293-287-296-305=1181, +29) finished fifth.
