The No. 27 Boilermakers recovered quickly from a season-opening loss against No. 32 Tennessee to defeat No. 56 Fresno State 4-0 on Saturday.
The Fresno State match, which was part of the ITA Kick-Off Weekend, was controlled early by Purdue.
In the dual match, the Boilermaker duo of Natalia Davila and Nicole Robinson defeated Fresno State 6-1 at the No. 3 doubles position and improved their record to 2-1.
Krisztina Kapitany and Mara Schmidt defeated the No. 41 tandem of Aishwarya Agrawal and Claire Yang in the No. 1 position.
Robinson moved to 3-2 in singles play after beating Sofya Malysheva. Teammates Daniela Vidal and Lynda Xepoleas followed with singles victories — Xepoleas upset No. 104 ranked Sophie Watts in her win.
Purdue hosts TCU at 12 p.m. on Feb. 1 in the Schwartz Tennis Center.
