10/25/17 Maryland, Maddy Williams

Senior Maddy Williams receives her three awards for all-time goals, all-time assists and all-time points Wednesday evening at Folk Field.

After returning to the Purdue lineup this year after a season-ending injury in her junior campaign, senior Maddy Williams has been named Big Ten Forward of the year.

This accolade will add to an already full record shelf. Over the course of her senior season, Williams set all-time Purdue marks for career goals, career assists, career points, single-season goals and single-season points.

Williams was also one of three players to be named a First Team All-Big Ten Forward

Senior defender Vanessa Korolas was named a Third Team All-Big Ten Defender.

The Boilermakers started six freshman for the majority of the season and two of them received recognition for their contributions.

Defender Sarah Clark and goalkeeper Katie Luce were named to the All-Freshman team.

The Boilermakers take on Northwestern at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament.
