The Purdue women's basketball team lost to Iowa in Mackey Arena 71-83, falling to 15-10 overall and 6-7 in the Big Ten. Purdue went up early of the back of sophomore guard Cassidy Hardin's 9 points and maintained a lead for 10 minutes. However Iowa took the lead back as Purdue was unable to stop Iowa from scoring 46 points in the paint. After trailing in the third quarter, the Boilers managed a comeback to within 2 points in the fourth quarter, but a late Iowa run ruined the rally. Sophomore guard Kayana Traylor lead Purdue with 21 points while redshirt junior forward Jenelle Grant finished with 12.
