Purdue senior Isaac Haas was named a finalist for the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award, given to the nation's top center, the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced.

Haas, a 7-foot, 2-inch center from Hokes Bluff, Alabama, was earlier is 1-of-10 finalists for the award and is joined by Big Ten representatives Ethan Happ (Wisconsin) and Jaren Jackson Jr. (Michigan State). He joins teammates Carsen Edwards (Jerry West Award) and Vincent Edwards (Julius Erving Award) as finalists for the position awards by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.

The list will be cut down to a final five finalist in early / mid-March.
