Marquette (2-0) overcame a 15-point halftime deficit and turned it into a 65-55 victory over Purdue (1-2) Wednesday night in Milwaukee. In fact, Purdue had built an 18-point first-half lead that could have been a lot more if it had hit free throws. The Boilermakers were 3-of-10 from the line in the first half and 9-of-21 for the game. Rebounding was a big turnaround, too, as Purdue held a 27-16 margin at half, but ended winning that 41-40.
