In his first NFL start, Detroit Lions’ QB David Blough, a Purdue alumnus completed more than 50 percent of his passes and two touchdowns on Thursday.

Blough, who completed his Purdue eligibility last season, was 22 of 38 passing for 280 yards, pair of touchdowns and an interception. However, his team (3-8-1) was beaten by the Chicago Bears (6-6), 24-20, in Detroit.

Blough’s first completion was a 75-yard touchdown strike to Kenny Golladay to tie the game, 7-7, at that point.
