No. 12 Wisconsin’s vaunted running game was too much for Purdue on Saturday, as the Badgers won 45-24 in Madison.  The Badgers (9-2, 6-2 Big Ten) ran for 403 yards and had another 203 passing. Purdue (4-7, 3-5) had 326 yards in the loss. Boilermaker quarterback Aiden O’Connell was 26-of-43 for 289 yards and had two touchdowns and one turnover. Brycen Hopkins was Purdue’s leading receiver with eight catches for 127 yards and two touchdowns.  Jonathan Taylor, Wisconsin’s running back, carried the ball 28 times for 22 yards and had one touchdown.
