Purdue’s David Boudia won a bronze medal on Saturday night during the final diving event of the 2016 Olympics.
It was his fourth career Olympic medal.
The Purdue alumnus scored 525.25 points for the 10-meter medal. Chen Aisen (of China) and German Sanchez (Mexico) finished ahead of Boudia.
Another Purdue entry into the Olympics, Steele Johnson, finished 13th in the event. He failed to mail the final cut.
Earlier in this year’s Olympics, Boudia and Johnson won a silver medal in the two-man synchronized 10-meter dive.
