The Big Ten released its 2019-20 composite schedule on Friday. The announcement filled out the remaining 18 games of the Purdue women's basketball team's 30-game slate that opens Nov. 10 against Milwaukee.

Game times and broadcast assignments will be announced at a later date.

For the seventh time in the last eight seasons, the Boilermakers will open Big Ten play on the road, facing Ohio State on Dec. 28 for the second straight year. Purdue improved to 21-16 all-time in league openers last season with a 60-42 win over the Buckeyes at Mackey Arena.

Following a back-to-back homestand against Wisconsin and Rutgers on Dec. 31 and Jan. 5, respectively, Purdue will travel to Bloomington on Jan. 9 for the first of two showdowns against Indiana. The road trip concludes Jan. 12 at Northwestern.

The Boilermakers will close out the month of January with three home games – Illinois (Jan. 16), Minnesota (Jan. 19) and Penn State (Jan. 26) – and a pair of road contests at Nebraska (Jan. 22) and Michigan State (Jan. 30).

Purdue will look to recapture the Barn Burner Trophy for the first time since 2016 when the Hoosiers make the return trip to Mackey on Feb. 3. The Boilermakers are 18-9 in the annual trophy game since its inception in 1994.

The Boilermakers will hit the road for three of their next four outings: at Michigan (Feb. 6), Wisconsin (Feb. 13) and Illinois (Feb. 16). The lone home game during that 11-day stretch will be Feb. 9 against Iowa.

Michigan State will make its way to West Lafayette for a Feb. 20 contest, before Purdue plays its penultimate regular-season game at Maryland on Feb. 25. When Ohio State comes to Mackey for the final game of the regular season Feb. 29, it will mark the first time in history that Purdue will play at home on leap day.

The schedule culminates at the Big Ten Tournament at Bankers Life Fieldhouse from March 4 to 8.
