After trailing 35-30 at halftime, the Purdue women's basketball team stormed back in the second half to beat Northern Illinois, 68-63, Sunday in Mackey Arena. At the start of the third quarter, the Boilermakers (4-0) went on a 9-point scoring run. By the fourth quarter, Purdue built a 14-point lead. However, near the end of the game, Northern Illinois (2-3) made a small comeback, but ultimately came up short. Senior guard Domnique Oden and sophomore guard Kayana Traylor lead the Boilermakers with 15 and 16 points respectively as Purdue shot 37.7 percent from the field
