With its 3-1 victory over Iowa Friday night in Holloway Gymnasium, the volleyball team has now won four of its last five games, with its one loss coming to No. 5. Nebraska. After a slow start against the Hawkeyes, Purdue won three straight sets to take the match. Purdue fell 20-25 the first set, struggling to convert hits in to kills. After winning a close second set 25-20, Purdue stormed out after halftime, winning easily 25-16 and 25-15. With this win Purdue advanced to 13-5 on the season and 5-4 in conference play. Purdue has a chance to redeem its last loss to Nebraska as the Boilermakers host the Cornhuskers at 8 p.m. Saturday in Holloway Gymnasium.
